Beer battered corn dogs


Beer battered corn dogs! 

1/4 cup buttermilk 
1 egg 
1/4 cup honey 
1 t salt
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 1/2 t baking soda 
1 cup flour
3/4 cup cornmeal (corn flour) 
1 cup beer 

Prepare hotdogs and cheese
I also stuffed some jalapeños with cream cheese. Enough batter for 6 hotdogs and 14 jalapeños 
(I would've preferred a thinner batter! More beer.. Or buttermilk! But still delicious!) 


I also wish I'd incorporated some of the jalapeño seeds back into the cream cheese. (Onion chive cre cheese!!) 


Mix battering coat dogs. 


Deep fry at 350 degrees.. 1-2 minutes. 
Then I popped them in the oven and shoves a stick in to make sure the dog was cooked and piping hot!! 😁👍 
(Jalapeño cheese melting out!!)
