Blue cheese spicy maple balsamic salad


Maple balsamic (blue cheese) salad: 

1/4 # chicken 
1 tsp oregano
1 tap thyme
1 tsp rosemary 
2 tablespoons olive oil 

1/8 cup blue cheese crumble
Green leaf salad mix 

1 apple
1/2 large red onion
2 tablespoons oil for brushing

1 cup nuts (cashews)
1 tablespoon sugar in the raw
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons olive oil

Mix together chicken, seasonings & oils let sit one hour.

Slice apples and onions and brush with oil 

Mix nuts in tin foil and wrap up

Put nuts on grill first, takes about 20 minutes low to medium heat cover down


Open up grill and add chicken, apples, and onion pieces. 


Grill about 10 minutes flipping apples and chicken 1/2 way through (onions if you can, but they get soft) 


Now everything is done! 
Toss salad in bowl with dressing. 
And plate all. 



Spicy maple balsamic dressing: 

1/3 cup olive oil
1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 tablespoon mustard 

Whisk all together and keep refrigerated in air tight jar (container for 3-5 days) shake before using
