Sweet & spicy bar nuts!


Grilled bar nuts:

4 1/2 cups nuts 
(We used pistachios, peanuts, cashews)

4 tablespoons fresh chopped rosemary
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 
2 tablespoons maple syrup 
1 tablespoon sea salt 
4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick) 

Heat up cast iron on grill and pre roast or heat up already roasted nuts! 


Combine all other ingredients in a pot on the stove 


Put on medium to high heat until combined but don't reduce, then pour over and mix into nuts evenly. 


(We also added 1/2 can of alphadelic beer.) continue cooking nuts on grill until liquid is reduced or almost invisible.
Then take nuts off of grill and spread okt on sheet pan to cool! 
(I used a silpat so the nuts wouldn't stick to pan, oil sprayed parchment or wax does the Same job!)


Let dry out. 
Place in sealed container for long term storage, or leave out and enjoy eating over 3-5 days.
